This story is set in 17th Century England. After his father is murdered by a member of the Doone clan, a young man steps in to take care of his mother and 2 sisters. He falls in love with a woman who he later finds out is the granddaughter of the head of the Doone clan. He will let nothing stand in his way to marry her.
