Danny

Danny
This is the story of a summer and a twelve-year old girl's discovery that if it were strong enough, her love for a pony could make the impossible happen.

Unhappy little Janie Neely is a horse-lover, working at ritzy Longvue Farms. She falls in love with Danny, a handsome gray pony owned by the spoiled daughter of the wealthy stable owner. When injured, Danny is discarded by the bratty girl. A mysterious benefactor enables surprised Janie to become the horse's new owner. Through Janie's hard work, Danny is nursed back to health and Janie learns that if you hold fast to your dreams they can be made to happen.

Customer Review: A Wonderful Story
This little movie lacks in acting ability, but certainly has it where it counts! I have loved this movie ever since I was a kid and will continue loving it and I'm thrilled it made it DVD! Janie is a lovable character who loves horses and that many horse lovers can relate to and for her, the ultimate dream of owning a horse comes true. There's a lot of love in the movie and the morale of the story centers around that and has great lessons to be learned. For anyone who loves horses, or owns horses, or knows someone who loves horses and can see past the bad acting, it is a great horse story and I recommend it to any horse lovers out there!
