Customer Review: A bit simplified
I had used the SongXpress series for Surf Guitar to learn a few songs and have been impressed with the series. I bought this tape to learn some folk guitar and was a bit disappointed with three of the songs in that just the chords were taught. Not much more, really that you could get from a book. For "4 and 20," by Cosby Stills and Nash, the fingerpicking was taught, which makes the tape worthwhile. I am ordering some other SongXpress material, nevertheless, since what is good is very good, despite the fluff.
Customer Review: Good tool for practicing guitar
These videos are great learning tools, almost like having an instructor in the room with you, except that you can rewind the tape and play only the parts that you need to repeat.
