Calendars, contacts, and a clock appear in the Extras menu, along with a few more handy items. Take the screen lock, for example. Spin the Click Wheel to choose a four-digit combination and protect your iPod classic from prying eyes. If you forget your combination, just reset when you sync. Just amazing, wonderful, awesome. I had the 60gig at one point. I found myself always needing to move, delete, or rearrange things in order to make room for new and more music. The 60gig ended up becoming obsolete, and I couldn't do anything about it. It, actually, ended up breaking (no fault of Apple's), and I knew I needed another. I waited a long time, taking my time, learning. A year and a half had past and I saw the 80gig and 160gig ipods. I didn't care for the pictures or videos, I just needed room for music. As soon as I saw that the 160gig was 100 dollars more than the 80gig, I became so stoked and ordered it. I was even more stoked once it got here. I think it's, probably, one of my smartest buys. It's definitely the best piece of music-listening equipment I've ever seen, touched, or heard of. I have room for my ever-changing and ever-increasing music taste. I even have room for some important documents and pictures that I take with me everywhere. This thing is gnarly. I listen to it/my music all the time. And I would certainly recommend this to anybody and everybody considering it. I haven't had one issue or problem with it. Definitely a good buy.

Apple quit making the 160 GB iPod classic in september 2008. It is a great piece as we use Apple Lossless encoding and the large hard drive allows for plenty of storage. Get it Quick before they run out.
